Us Gonds have more dieties than all the people of the world. The elders tell that there are thirty three crore (330 million) deities. For all these deities in a whole year, every ten to fifteen days they perform a festival. These festivals are going on according to the rituals and customs since ancient times. For example, like these: duraḍi, ceyt-bīmanang marming, bāveytun-persang pēnk, reysi tinval, būḍ-bāvey-pir pēnk, ākaḍi, pōra, novong, sarkāri dasra, pēnkna dasra, divaḍi, saṅkarātri, pūs pēnk… they celebrate so many festivals.
